We went to see the 3 gorges Dam project.It was hot and there is quite a bit of moisture in the air (see photo)
The Dam is quite amazing and it was interesting readin through the book describing the project. There were many references to cultural sites that will now be under tonnes of water. I think the quote went like this. This historical site will now be only visited by the ghosts and will have water running across its streets.
There is in fact a town that has been completely deserted that will soon be under water.

Pa has been fascinated by this whole project - watched documentaries about it on pay TV. Glad you could go and see the project.
