3 gorges dam

We went to see the 3 gorges Dam project.

It was hot and there is quite a bit of moisture in the air (see photo)

The Dam is quite amazing and it was interesting readin through the book describing the project. There were many references to cultural sites that will now be under tonnes of water. I think the quote went like this. This historical site will now be only visited by the ghosts and will have water running across its streets.

There is in fact a town that has been completely deserted that will soon be under water.

The photo is of a very small section of the Dam.

And Some music to go along with the Science and Art.

Here are all the kids joining in singing something that I can't quite remember. "Donut nobis parchem" I think. Latin?

Sheridan is Hamming it up in the front row and Delenn is hiding in the middle somewhere. I think I can see just a little of her below the left edge of the music stand on the right.

Art and Science Fair

Delenn proudly showing off her art work at the end of school Art and Science Fair.
We had a great day out in the sun on the banks of the Yangtze river at the Holiday Inn.

It is strange that I was actually staying in the Holiday inn last year on the day the end of year art and science fair. Now this year living in Wuhan I can appreciate the other side of things. Rather than living from a suitcase I can enjoy the time with my kids and new friends.

The school year has been good for both Sheridan and Delenn. They have both enjoyed their time in class and with friends after school.
